It seems that they have decided to take a hawkish approach when it comes to the interest rates. Jerome Powell announced that interest rates will be increased 75 basis points – although prior to the decision he promised us that a 75 BPS increase was off the table, but here we are. Aside from that, one of the biggest VC funds in crypto 3AC has imploded due to them failing to meet their lender’s margin calls.
Not to mention Celsius has become insolvent. We’re still waiting to see the end result of the negative windfall, but it’s looking like things could get a bit apocalyptic for a brief period.
